Blessings to you all for this Sunday!
This week has a been a bit of a tough week in lots of areas. It’s the week following Easter and during this time it is fairly normal to experience a need to catch one’s breath after a period of huge change and effort over the last few weeks. The need for a break is normal in any year, but this year in particular it is magnified because of coronavirus and the changes our church has had to make.
In terms of worship in our church this week myself and technical team who help deliver, record and edit the services are all in need of a bit of a breather. So instead of our standard worship service recording that our team have been providing, I have recorded a brief service looking at the theme: ‘Coming back to the heart of worship’ complete with a sermon, reading, prayer and song.
There is a lovely song at the end of this called ‘Heart of Worship’ by Matt Redman, so please enjoy and meditate on the words as you worship Jesus simply and from the heart wherever you are.
